Temporary Disaster Response Case Manager

Catholic Charities of Southeast Texas is seeking to fill the position of Temporary Disaster Response (DR) Case Manager.This position will be responsible for assisting with 2016 March Flood recovery e orts (up to 12 months) and works under the supervision of the Disaster Response Program Coordinator. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field preferred. • Comparable education and experience may be substituted for a degree.• Proficient in basic computer skills. • Knowledge of case management. • Proven leadership, administrative and organizational abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Comfortable working within multicultural settings. • Willing to travel and work evenings and weekends when necessary.• Demonstrate sensitivity to diverse cultures. • Must have adequate/available and reliable transportation.
